School Behaviour - Hertfordshire Steps - Parent & Carer Webinar
Most schools in Hertfordshire adopts the Hertfordshire Steps - an approach to supporting children's behaviour that involves teaching pro-social behaviours and implementing known and fair consequences for those behaviours which are difficult or dangerous. By watching this video, parents/carers will learn how we support children's behaviour in school as well as learn how they might be able to adopt some of the messages in the family home.
Phonics - Information for Parents/Carers
We use the Read Write Inc. Phonics programme to teach children word reading skills. We start this programme in Reception with the aim for all children to be fluent readers by the time they finish Year 2.
